SUPEROPEN 0.35T
Permanent Magnent
The SuperOpen is built upon a powerful 0.35 Tesla C-type
permanent magnet. With its compact design, minimal floor space is required.
The intuitive Windows based user interface enables an inexperienced operator
to start scanning within hours. Thanks to the powerful gradient system, a
variety of sequences are available to meet different application needs. With
no need for cryogens, the cost of maintenance is substantially lowered.
Advanced Magnet Design
- Permanent magnet with field strength of 0.35 Tesla
provides better SNR and hence better image quality.
- Bi-polar C-type magnet is open in all four directions,
which allows the user easy access to all patients. Children and the
elderly are very accepting of the openness of the design, making it ideal
for interventional studies.
- Specially patented NdFeB materials and eddy current
reduction techniques ensure high homogeneity of the magnetic field and
minimal eddy current related artifacts.
- Unique molding technologies eliminate vibration of the
magnet, which can deteriorate image quality.
- Built in high precision temperature control system
minimizes the impact of environmental fluctuations, simplifying the
installation requirements.
|
Offering a variety of
coils to cover all application needs
- QD head and body coils increase SNR by 40% over
conventional solenoid coils.
- Dedicated surface coils are available for optimal
scanning of specific anatomical regions.
- surface coils can be customized to size upon request.
Operating Console
- Industrial standard Windows based operating system
- A Powerful computer with Dual CPU and Large Storage
capacity
- Magnetic-optical Disk (MO) for long time archive
- High resolution (1600 x 256 matrix)
- Parallel processing technique, simultaneous scanning
and reconstruction
- Direct connection with DISCOM 3.0 compatible laser
imager

Rich Pulse Sequences

- Spin
Echo (SE)
High quality images meet all clinical needs.
- Fast Spin Echo (FSE)
With Fast Spin Echo, the acquisition time can be
substantially reduced. By adjusting ETL and TE, the acquisition time and
image contrast can be changed easily.
- Multi-Slice-Multi-Echo (MSME)
Users can select the number of slices and the
number of echoes within one sequence.
- Field Echo (FE)
Fast acquisition of T1 and T2 weighted images.
- Inversion Recovery (IR)
With STIR and FLAIR, small details can be
detected with better image contrast.

Superior Image Quality
- Thin Slice scanning gives small details of the
pituitary petiole and the whole pituitary.
- Chronic knee joint injury: clearly shows one
hyperplasia of articular surface, lower capsule pathological changes of
articular cavity dropsy.
- Multiple hysteromyoma.
- High resolution images of the small structure of bone
trabeculae and mammary gland
- An efficient way of diagnosis for femoral head
necrosis.
- Flow compensation and presaturation techniques
significantly reduce artifacts and allows improved image quality of spine
images.

- 3D Scanning
3D acquisition and reconstruction.
- MRU & MRCP
High quality images of MRU and MRCP
- Echo Planar Imaging
Ultra-fast acquisition and perfusion imaging.
- MR Angiography (MRA)
2D/3D Time of Flight MR Angiography with 3D
dynamic display.
|
Imaging Techniques
-
Multi-angle Multi Slices
Multi Slices and multi angles in one
single scan make the localizing and scanning of the spine much
easier
-
Flow Compensation
Flow compensation reduces flow artifacts and improves the
quality of spin echo images.
-
Anti-aliasing
Frequency / phase over-sampling can
reduce aliasing artifacts and obtain small FOV images with
excellent quality
-
Multi-region pre-saturation
By selecting multi-regions to be
pre-saturated , motion artifacts due to breathing and unwanted
signals outside region of interest can be reduces
|
-
Fractional Echo
Fractional echo technique shortens
the echo time, increases T1 contrast and reduces the effects
of T2. In the meantime, the number of slices is increased and
the scanning time is shortened.
-
Gating technique
ECG and respiratory gating can
reduce motion artifacts caused by heart beats and breathing
-
Multiple combination of phase Encoding
For the critical and uncooperative
patients, multiple combinations of Phase Encoding can minimize
possible motion artifacts.
